All JDB projects begin with a free on-site estimate. Estimates are provided in writing and detail the scope of work, materials to be used, labor cost, and estimated timeline. No work begins without a signed agreement from the client.

Permits and Compliance

Where required by local ordinance or building code, JDB Home Solutions will obtain the necessary building permits on your behalf as part of the project. All work performed by JDB is designed to comply with applicable Springfield, Illinois building codes and standards in effect at the time of construction.

Changes to Project Scope

Any changes to the agreed project scope after work has begun must be agreed to in writing by both parties. Changes may affect the project cost and timeline. JDB is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from scope changes requested by the client after project commencement.

Client Responsibilities

• Not interfere with ongoing construction in a way that creates safety risks for the crew

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your written estimate or contract. JDB does not require full payment upfront before work begins. Typical payment schedules involve a deposit at project start and a final payment upon satisfactory completion. Accepted payment methods will be provided at the time of estimate.

Workmanship Warranty

JDB Home Solutions stands behind the quality of our work. Specific warranty terms — including duration and coverage — will be provided in writing at project completion. Manufacturer warranties on materials (such as composite decking) are separate from JDB's workmanship warranty and are subject to each manufacturer's terms.

Our workmanship warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from improper use, negligence, or modifications made by the client or third parties after project completion
• Normal wear and tear over time
• Damage caused by severe weather events, flooding, or other acts of nature
• Issues arising from pre-existing conditions in the property that were not disclosed or visible at the time of the estimate
